Reservation Agreement

What a reservation is

Placing a reservation means you are submitting a $149 deposit to hold your place in the founding production batch of Hearth. A reservation is not a purchase. It does not guarantee a specific delivery date or final price. It reserves your place in line and your right to configure and purchase a Hearth unit when we are ready to begin production.

Your deposit

The $149 reservation deposit is fully refundable at any time, for any reason, with no questions asked. To request a refund, email hello@newstandard.ai with the email address associated with your reservation. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Your deposit will be applied toward the purchase price of your Hearth unit when you move forward with your order.

Pricing

Hearth starts at $9,999. Your final price depends on the configuration you select during the design process, which happens after production planning begins. We will confirm your final price with you before we begin building your unit. Your confirmed price will not change once production of your unit has started.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing for new reservations, but existing confirmed orders are not affected.

Production and delivery

We are targeting Summer 2026 for the first production batch. This is our best current estimate. Hardware manufacturing involves variables outside our direct control: component availability, logistics, and regulatory requirements among them. We will keep you informed if timelines change and will never begin charging the full purchase amount without your confirmation.

We currently plan to deliver within the United States. Shipping is included in the price of your unit. We will coordinate delivery details with you when your unit is ready.

What happens when production begins

When we are ready to begin production of your unit, we will contact you to confirm your configuration and final price. At that point you will have the option to confirm your order and pay the remaining balance, or cancel and receive a full refund of your deposit.

Cancellation

You may cancel your reservation at any time before your unit enters production and receive a full refund of your $149 deposit. Once your unit has entered production, the deposit becomes non-refundable. The remaining balance is not due until production of your specific unit begins.

If we are unable to fulfill your reservation for any reason, you will receive a full refund of any amounts paid.

Your information

By placing a reservation, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the personal information you provide. We use your information to process your reservation and keep you informed about your order.

Modifications to this agreement

We may update this agreement from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Changes do not apply to reservations already confirmed in writing.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
